Refund Policy

Last updated: July 8, 2026 Document: RE-LEGAL-RFN-01 Scope: Consulting / Advisory

This Refund Policy explains how refunds and cancellations work for the consulting and advisory services provided by Rynova Engine. Because each engagement is custom work prepared specifically for a client, this policy is tailored to that context.

Please note: This document is a general template provided for informational purposes and does not constitute legal advice. It should be reviewed and adapted by a qualified professional for your specific business, entity structure, and jurisdiction before it is relied upon.

01 Overview

This Refund Policy explains how refunds and cancellations are handled for the consulting and advisory Services provided by Rynova Engine. Because our work is custom advisory work prepared specifically for each client, this policy is written for that context and should be read together with our Terms of Service and Service Agreement.

02 Nature of Our Services

Rynova Engine provides advisory services only. Deliverables are custom documents, assessments, and recommendations prepared for your specific situation. Once work has been performed, it generally cannot be "returned," which is why the eligibility rules below focus on the stage of the engagement.

03 Deposits and Payment

Some engagements require a deposit before work begins, with the remainder invoiced according to your written scope. Work starts once the agreed payment terms are met. The specific payment and deposit terms for your project are those stated in your scope.

04 Refund Eligibility

Eligibility depends on how far the engagement has progressed:

  • Before work begins — if you cancel before we start, any deposit is refundable, less reasonable documented costs already incurred in preparing for the engagement.
  • Work in progress — refunds are pro-rated. Work already performed is billable and non-refundable; fees for work not yet performed may be refunded.
  • Delivered work — once a deliverable has been provided to you, it is non-refundable.

05 How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, email Rynova Engine at the address below with your engagement details and the reason for the request. We will review it and respond, typically within a few business days.

06 Processing

Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method. The time to appear depends on your payment provider and the commerce platform, and may take several business days after approval.

07 Cancellation by You

You may cancel an engagement at any time by giving written notice. You remain responsible for fees covering work completed and costs incurred up to the point of cancellation.

08 Cancellation by Us

We may decline or discontinue an engagement — for example, where the request falls outside our advisory scope, where required information or cooperation is not provided, or in the event of non-payment. If we end an engagement in progress, we will refund fees for any work not yet performed.

09 Non-Refundable Items

The following are not refundable:

  • Deliverables that have already been provided;
  • Work that has already been performed;
  • Third-party costs already incurred on your behalf.

10 Chargebacks and Disputes

If you have a concern about a charge, please contact us first so we can resolve it directly. Initiating a chargeback without contacting us may be disputed with supporting documentation of the work performed.

11 Changes to This Policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page, and the "Last updated" date above will reflect the latest revision.
